I want to suggest a truely ultimate late-night snack.  Despite the name, this is not solely stoner-food, or even while-stoned food, though that is not ruled out as an option.  I was clean when making and eating this, to give you the idea.

You will need:  Bread.  No more than four slices.  Three is best.  Cheddar cheese.  I use Balderson’s 2-year aged, just ’cause it toasts up real well in the oven.  Finally, a Panago’s dip, the “Chipotle Cilantro” flavour.

Turn on the broiler in your oven, and move the rack up to a safe spot near the top.  Every oven is different, so I dunno which position works best.  I use second from the top in ours.  If you’re using a toaster oven, make this part up.  We don’t have one, so I have no clue how to adapt this.

Spread the dip on the bread, covering evenly.   Split the full container amongst the bread you have.  Cut the cheese about 3 – 5 mm thick, and arrange to cover the bread.

Place on tray and broil.  Take it out of the oven when the cheese starts to crisp up on top, maybe long enough to let it get a little brown.


Note:  Processed cheese is the shits for this.  If that’s all you have, this is not for you.  That shit doesn’t toast right, and just ends up looking and tasting like burnt plastic.

I made some of this tonight, and mom got back from the neighbors and definitely sniffed me up for smoke, ’cause this stuff’d be such stoner munchies.  But it’s not, necessarily.  It’s also great clean.  Honest.
