…At 10 this morning, I recieved a phone call telling me I had a job – starting as soon as I could get there.
Kenny was calling me to tell me that he needed unskilled labour for his business – Powers Restoration. It’s a renovation/restoration that specialises in Heritage (Old) homes, and I’ve been hired as painting prep, essentially, and general junkwork.
Today I scraped dry cracked paint and sanded and chipped paint some more. Somewhat monotous, but – hard work, and good because of that.
…Dunno what I’m getting paid, though…
